Group shot of entire suite, except chairs (forgive inclusion of cat--hard to keep her out of photos!)
The round "spots" seen here and there must be some kind of reflection--they are not in the finish!

The light areas around the edges and in grooves is dust. I had dust covers over everything, and dusted (I thought) before taking the photos, but I am not the world's best housekeeper, and I'm afraid I'd need to spend a day or two to actually do a decent dusting job. :-(

Table closed for length of 64 inches. Table is 42" wide, and 33" high.

Table open, shows heavy-duty wooden bracing and slides.
Two leaves fit in here for length of 88 inches.
I know I took a photo with the leaves in, but when I got the photos on the computer for resizing and editing there was none. However, as noted in the description on the main page, those are the only two pieces that were refinished, and do not quite match the rest of the finish. Apparently the original owners never used the leaves in the table, but rather used them for scaffolding! The finish was badly worn off. My father refinished them for me, and stained and varnished them as close as he could to match the table top.
I also took a photo of the pads--there are custom pads for the entire table, including the leaves--but that photo was gone, too. Gremlins?

Close-up of ornamentation under table as seen from wide side.

Narrow end view of under side of table. Ugh! Lots of dust in this shot.

This is the one major scratch on the table top. It is a shallow scratch and should be easily repaired. The top generally is very nice, but there are some places where someone foolishly set hot dishes at some time without using either the pads or a trivet. All such spots, except one, can probably be relatively easily polished out. The other one can probably be fixed by a professional without too much work.
