 African Warrior
#A0143At one time, we imported gift items from around the world. This was originally for display. It was hand carved in Kenya (sticker still on bottom proclaims this). A 10.5", hand-carved and hand-painted African Warrior imported 20+ years ago from Kenya. Apparently a Massai Warrior, he has maroon and black head gear and cloak. The colors are actually darker than they appear in this photo--the maroon is much darker. Includes four separate pieces: warrior, spear (through hole in his left hand), shield, and piece of wood (that sticks in shield and goes through hole in his right hand). Truly a work of art.
