This was the first of Li'l Abner's filmed adventures. I would guess it was filmed about 1940. Li'l Abner is played by Jeff York, billed as Granville Owen, and Daisy Mae is played by Martha O'Driscoll. It followed the comic strip fairly closely, and is centered around Sadie Hawkins Day, with three different lovelies chasing Li'l Abner.
NOTE: DO NOT confuse this with the 1959/60 musical production Li'l Abner.
