Stars Ralph Fiennes, Rob Morrow and directed by Robert Redford. In the late 1950's there were several popular quiz shows on TV, including Twenty One, $64,000 Question, Tic Tac Dough, and others. In order to get higher ratings, most shows were "fixed", and this one had Charles Van Doren as a top-winning contestant. He was handsome, a Columbia University instructor, and a member of a highly respected literary family—his father had won a Pulitzer Prize for poetry. His involvement in the scandal, leading to a Congressional investigation, brought shame to his entire family. This is a good presentation of what happened 50 years ago.

Color, running time approx. 133 minutes. Released in 1994 or 1997 (not sure) by Hollywood Pictures Company. Rated — not rated, but I'd rate it "G", suitable for all audiences.
Condition: Former rental video, but Good — No box, but it is in a plastic VHS case.
