Life Magazine Special Issue March 29, 1943
Special Issue USSR
#JC0523
Makes for fascinating reading about events during the WW II war years with entire issue devoted to articles concerning our major "ally", the Soviet Union/Russia, our dealings with them, our perceptions about them and their perceptions about us. Ads are interesting, too. Can you imagine men's leather dress shoes for $6.00 to $8.00?
Joseph Stalin on covermagazine measures 14" x 10.25", too large to fit the entire cover on my scanner. Many B&W and color photos.
